1.
Mounting the hanger pieces: In order to install cabinets safely onto the wall, we should use hanger pieces. Let’s use a drill, and screw the hanger pieces
near the top inner corners of the chest, while making sure the holes of the hanger face the wall side.
2.
Drilling the chest: Let’s now drill the chest (through the hanger holes) on the wall side using a drill.
3.
Measuring the wall: We now mark the points on the wall where the cabinet will begin and end. With the use of a tape measure, let’s measure both
horizontally or vertically (leaving minimum of 60 cm. between the countertop and the upper cabinet is recommended, in order
to allow space for any kitchen appliances, as well as to avoid swelling due to vapour).
4.
Marking the drilled holes: Let’s place the wall cabinet chest to the marked points. Then with a pencil, let’s mark the wall through the drilled hanger
holes. We should make sure to check the level to see if the chest is sloping or not.
5.
6.
Placing the wall plugs: Now let’s hammer the wall plug which has the same radius as the holes drilled on the wall (wall plugs help fill the holes
and ensure that the cabinet is hung safely).
7.
Screwing the wall chest: Let’s now place the wall chest back to the starting point. We should screw the chest onto the wall where the holes with the
wall plugs exist. Then we can screw the top piece of the hanger.
